On 22nd November 1963, President John F.Kennedy was assassinated.
John F. Kennedy the 35th president, was assassinated when he was shot by a sniper while riding in a motorcade through downtown Dallas. In film shown around the world Jackie Kennedy was seen cradling her dying husband as the limousine sped to the emergency room at Parkland Hospital. Lee Harvey Oswold was later arrested for the murder but is shot shortly afterwards by nightclub owner Jack Ruby.

1977 – U.S.A., the UK Concord begins flights to U.S.A. Scheduled services from Paris and London to New York's John F. Kennedy Airport began following the ban on Concord due to protests over the sonic booms flying into JFK were lifted. Concord has since been taken out of the air.
 
1986 – U.S.A. Mike Tyson, Mike Tyson became the youngest Heavyweight Champion in history this day, with a second round knockout win over Trevor Berbick.
